Straight Outta Diapers
I'm sure I had something witty here and then the site ATE my draft other than the pictures so. Just insert whatever you think would be the best intro to this chapter here. Woohoo.

I don't even know what's going on here.
Lithium: I am establishing dominance.

When everyone went to work/school/daycare, this lady stood outside the house all day looking pissed. I know I looked up who she was previously, but I do not care to do so a second time.

Meanwhile, Julian got fired for either being too stinky on the job, or for coming in late because he couldn't go to work if his little tummy was grumbly. I don't remember which it was that broke the camel's back, but either way he's been getting strikes because he's been the on-call parent late at night.
He makes a fraction of what Ellie makes, though, so it doesn't really matter.
Julian: It matters to me...
It doesn't really matter. 😊

He spotted his ex-coworker and still-secret-crush outside of the office, but she left pretty quickly because of stinky. So we'll never know what might have happened.
Or will we?
I don't know; I haven't played that far ahead yet.

Apparently the kids get phys. ed. homework, and apparently that homework is done on a computer, as is all the homework kids can get from what I understand.
Hydrogen: I'm doing virtual jumping jacks.

While we had a decent chunk of money, I decided to get the computer/game chair/desk bundle out of the way at the community center. Took me forever to figure out how to get the desk in the inventory.

I love that Ellie can canonically randomly bring up chemistry and nerd shit with the kids. Gotta start 'em young.

I've been eying this countdown like a kid waiting for Christmas. It's almost here!

And with that, we are done dealing with toddler twins! For now.
Here's Helium. He has... points?... whatever you want to call them... in physique and charisma, and his talent is food.

Lithium has points in physique and mind like her brother Hydrogen, and her talent is music.
They look pretty similar, although I think Helium has his dad's mouth and Lithium has her mom's. But don't quote me on that because I'm super face blind.

I let Julian get a new job since he's not on midnight diaper duty anymore. I think he's actually at a higher rank than he was before?

We spent Saturday mainly recuperating from toddlerhood and getting everyone's needs back up, so Sunday the whole family went to the Sunday market for fresh air and to take some pictures of the newly aged-up twins.

C'mon guys, this was supposed to be a cute picture. :/
I did manage to get it looking alright in photo mode, at least. I also love that Hydrogen is taller because he's an older kid. It makes me wonder if there's going to be height differences between them when they're adults.

I tried to get some cute pictures on the bench but eventually gave up trying to find 'sitting' poses that look like they're meant to be photographed. The photo mode is still super cool and I'm betting we'll get a bunch of photo-ready poses, either as part of the game or as CC from the workshop.

I think Hydrogen stole this mascot plushie from the ice cream cart?
Hydrogen: I put it back.
Only because you don't have a personal inventory to stash it.
Hydrogen: ... maybe....

Ellie: What did you do to my house.
This is the other reason I sent the whole family out. Since we're getting rid of all the toddler stuff and redoing the kids' rooms, might as well redo the house and go off an actual floorplan this time.
I just needed to test that the stairs would work with Ellie.

The sample picture showed the house hanging off a slope in the front, so I figured it was perfect for our lot that slopes down in the front. Not all the rooms are done, since we ran out of money partway through.

We have a little living room corner here AND THE WINDOWS AREN'T ALIGNED.
I will have to remember to fix that.

Dining area with the start of our Wall of Scientists.

Kitchen.
Are the barstools and upper cabinets completely decorative? Yes. I like them there.
Did I fully forget to put in a sink apparently? Also yes.

Upstairs is pretty bare except for our photo wall, for now. This has the kids' rooms and two bathrooms, while the master bedroom is downstairs at the back of the house. The bedrooms are bare bones for now, but I'll take pictures when things are actually decorated.

Since I kind of ate up all our money with renovations and we're still not done with them, I had some of the family go out for collectibles while Ellie completed some of the tasks on the town notice board. I thought I took a picture of what they were, but basically the two tasks were:
1) Look at the community center and from the binoculars on the mountain (what we're doing now)
2) Destroy three sandcastles
It is a pretty nice view from here.

We found Heyon Kim, the guy who sent us up the mountain, in an... interesting situation when we went to get our reward.
Three paras merging into one... could this be related to the ritual on the mountain? 😱

Heyon: Thank you for saving me from the ritual sacrifice; I owe you my life.
Ellie: Then stop talking and help me with this sandcastle. I need to destroy three of them, and I have work tomorrow.
Heyon: Does it count if you built the sandcastle yourself?
Ellie: It will if you're not a snitch.

After collecting some stuff and meeting some kids his age(ish) along the way, Hydrogen went to donate some to the museum and met up with Monica Aoki.
Hydrogen: You know, my mom was the one to find, like... all of these.
Monica: I was actually looking for the fun kind of mushroom...
Kind of crazy how we haven't talked to her roommate, Rebecca Wolfe, in, like, years. But also it's still spring. Paralives set in the Game of Thrones universe confirmed.
But at least now we have enough to furnish the two upstairs bathrooms so they won't keep walking into the one bathroom that's in use.

Or they might still do that.
Dude, stop.
